Chris Miller, Principal of 512 Strategies, is dedicated to developing and executing legislative, media, and business campaigns for a diverse list of clientele across the state of Texas. With almost 20 years of experience advocating for Fortune 500 companies before the Texas Legislature, state agencies and city governments, Miller has developed a vast network and attained considerable knowledge that prove invaluable to his clients.

 

He spent over a decade at the Association of Electric Companies of Texas (AECT) as Vice President and Corporate Secretary where he worked on energy, environmental, renewable, and general business policy. After AECT, Miller joined Uber Technologies, Inc. in 2015 to lead their public affairs efforts in Texas. Over the next six and a half years, he helped Uber pass statewide ridesharing regulations, the first of its kind in statewide food delivery regulations, autonomous vehicle legislation, and legislation to help modernize Texas’ medicaid transportation policy.

 

Chris holds a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin. He also serves on the Board of the Texas Restaurant Association and is a member of the Admirals Club of Austin. Outside of work, Miller enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and their two sons, Finley and Townes.
